According to Ayurveda, the hair is considered as the bone substitute. It can grow without life and it can grow for few more days even after death. The hair contains, sulphur, calcium magnesium and protein.
Use of helmets and hats regularly will cause the heat to stay on the head for long and the sweating causes itching. So it is important to wash off the hair regularly using lukewarm water. Use of too hot or too cold water directly to the hair will create far-reaching implications. Avoid bathing between 10.00 -3.30pm always try to bathe before 9 am and after 4pm. Over heat, sleepless nights and over usage of salty or spicy foods also not recommended. Dandruff, head lice or other insects found on head are also the reasons for hair fall. Always use clean water for take bath, if you are unsure about the cleanliness of water, boil and cool the water before use to avoid fungal risks.
If you have hypertension, over fear, sadness, mind irritations and diabetics there is more chances for hair falling issues. Drinking too less water, high use of cola related drinks, high use of alcohol, tea may be another cause. Even the improper menstrual cycle is also related with hair fall and overuse of Soap and high chemical shampoos will be another cause.
If you have hair fall problems, you must follow healthy diets to improve hair growth. Use vegetable is an essential. Eat fish as well as its bone, it gives more calcium. Reduce the use of chicken meat and eggs. Milk is always good for hair growth as well as for your total health. Include sesame in your diet will bring good difference for your problem.
If you have no other diseases that affecting the hair fall, regular use of a good Ayurvedic hair oil will helps to improve hair growth and reduces hair fall. Massage the oil for at least 5 to 10 minutes and let the oil rest on your head for 30 minutes and wash it off with a mild shampoo.
